EMCO temperature sensors series RN2F are used for temperature measurement within many industries including in steel works, power stations, chemical and petro-chemical industries, pharmaceutical and food industry, cement factories and marine industry etc.

Construction

  • The sensing element consists of a ceramic plate with platinum fixed to it according to the thin film technique. The electrical resistance changes with the temperature. The resistance is 100 ohm at 0°C.
  • Due to the small weight of the sensing element, 2 things are secured :
  • Short response time and insensitive to vibrations.
  • Connecting Head:Type B according to DIN 43729, standard in aluminium IP 55, option stainless steel IP 65, plastic with threaded cover, aluminium with threaded cover
  • Sensor :Pt100 according to IEC 751
  • No. of sensors :1 or 2
  • Well OD :8 or 11mm
  • Well material :Stainless steel AISI 316
  • Process connection :DN 25 PN 40, other sizes and pressure ratings on request
  • Accessories :Temperature transmitter 2 wire 4-20 mA, HART communication, Profibus PA, Foundation fieldbus EEx ia IIC T4/T6 for hazardous areas

  • Max. working pressure :50 bar
  • Max fluid velocity :Gasses 25 m/s, liquid 3 m/s
  • Temperature range :- 50 + 400°C. Outside these limits wire wound sensors are to be used
  • Accuracy :± 0,3 + 0,005 x t where t is the temperature in °C (class B) higher accuracies are available class A, 1/2 DIN, 1/3 DIN 1/6 DIN on request
  • Electrical connection :PG 16 for type B and plastic head, PG 16, M20, ½"NPT for stainless steel and threaded aluminium head
